From February 27 to March 4, 2023, the Diplomatic Academy at the UWED organized a short-term advanced training and retraining course on the theme: "Foreign political and foreign economic activities of the Republic of Uzbekistan" for employees of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade. Two representatives from the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, five from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and two from the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade attended the course.

Leading specialists of the Republic and teaching staff of the UWED were involved in this educational process. In the educational process, the audience mastered theoretical and practical skills in analyzing current trends and challenges of current international relations and world politics, the intricacies of diplomatic protocol and etiquette, learned the principles of export diversification in the context of economic liberalization, mastered the organization of the negotiation process, as well as building effective economic diplomacy of Uzbekistan and attracting investments. 

On March 4, 2023, all attendees who successfully completed the study process were awarded certificates of completion of short-term course of the Diplomatic Academy at the UWED, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
