On November 8 this year, representatives of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy held an online meeting with employees of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Kingdom of Spain.

The meeting was attended by Vasila Mamatkasimova, head of the Department of Romance and Germanic Languages, Gavkhar Mirkhalilova, head of the International Department, and Makhbuba Sadykova, teacher of Spanish.

During the conversation, it was noted that in recent years, bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Spain has reached a new, multifaceted level and acquired a very effective essence.

Plans were discussed to open the Cervantes Institute (Instituto Cervantes) at UWED - the world's largest center for the study of the Spanish language and cooperation with higher educational institutions in Spain.

At the end of the meeting, confidence was expressed in the further successful development of relations between UWED and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Kingdom of Spain and the implementation of the agreements reached.
