The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Uzbekistan delivered a lecture at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy
On April 17 of this this year, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tillo Klinner, delivered a lecture on international labor migration.
Opening the meeting, the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, and the Rector of UWED, Sodyq Safoev, thanked the high-ranking diplomat for his visit, noting the relevance of his presentation in light of Germany’s successful labor migration policy.
Ambassador T. Klinner shared his experience and knowledge on international labor migration during the lecture, focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of Germany's migration policy.
Speaking about the need to attract labor migrants to the country, he emphasized the importance of them having a certain level of proficiency in the German language and qualifications in demand in the labor market.
The audience, consisting of faculty members, doctoral students, and students of UWED, asked the lecturer questions that interested them and received detailed answers.
