On May 25 of this year, an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “Problems of language learning and ways to solve them” was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

It was attended by representatives of the National University of Uzbekistan, the University of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy (Turkiye), the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (Spain), as well as the teaching staff of the departments of Romance-Germanic, Uzbek and Russian languages ​​of the UWED.   

The conference discussed issues of teaching philological sciences in the higher education system, problems of introducing non-traditional effective teaching methods and preparing modern textbooks and teaching aids using modern information and pedagogical technologies, ensuring the quality of modern language education, important tasks of teaching foreign languages ​​in intercultural communication.

        Based on the results of the event, the necessary proposals and recommendations were given for reforming old methods and increasing the effectiveness of education that meets the requirements of world standards.
