On May 24 this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other leading ministries and departments of Uzbekistan, held a “Career Day” (Job Fair 2024) with the participation of the country’s largest employers.
The event was attended by over 50 organizations, including ministries and departments, state concerns, manufacturing enterprises, consulting and auditing firms, commercial banks, insurance and telecommunications companies. Among them are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Justice, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, MICA, Uzbekneftegaz, Enter engineering, Huawei Tech Investment Tashkent and other leading organizations and companies of the country.
The main goal of the event is to provide employment assistance to university students and graduates, as well as to assist employer companies in the selection of qualified, promising young specialists.
As part of the event, a uniquely detailed job fair was also organized, during which invited representatives of organizations and institutions introduced university graduates and students to the advantages and working conditions in their companies, as well as personnel needs for temporary and permanent employment.
During the “Career Day” event, many graduates of this university received invitations for interviews with employers, and a number of companies interested in training highly qualified personnel agreed to establish mutually beneficial cooperation with the university.
On a note. “Career Day” has been held at UWED for several years now. During the event, representatives of government organizations and private businesses can select specialists from among university graduates and students for possible employment.
