An oratory competition in Persian was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy
On May 3 of this year, an oratory competition in Persian was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. It was attended by 2nd and 3rd year students of UWED studying this language.
The competition consisted of three parts: performances in Persian, answers to tests on the history, geography and culture of the country of the language being studied. The final part was the creative part, where students demonstrated their talents in performing poems, songs, and dances of Persian-speaking peoples.
The jury included Persian language teachers from the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and volunteers who are native Persian speakers.
The winners of the competition were 3rd year students Azizbek Rustamov, Sarvar Pulatov and Marzhona Turgunova. Among the 2nd year students, Saifulla Abiyorov, Sheroz Kholov and Noilastali Pardaeva won.
