The University of World Economy and Diplomacy Hosts Meeting with Members of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan
On April 23rd of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, as part of the “Ma’rifat ulashib” project, hosted a meeting for UWED students and faculty with renowned writers and members of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan: Farida Afruz, Muhammad Ismail, and Javlon Jovliyev.
During the meeting, the esteemed guests shared their insights on the importance of creativity in the modern world, reflecting on their personal journeys, challenges, and sources of inspiration.
Students had the opportunity to delve deeper into the process of writing literary works and explore how creative skills can be applied in various fields, including diplomacy.
The discussion also touched upon crucial topics such as the significance of international cooperation, the role of culture in shaping diplomatic relations, and the power of literature as a tool for fostering understanding between nations. The writers addressed numerous questions from the engaged student audience.
Furthermore, on the same day, within the framework of the “Ma’rifat ulashib” project, a literary round table for schoolchildren and youth was jointly organized by the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and the 225th secondary school located in the Boz MFM of Mirzo Ulugbek district.
During the event, poetess Farida Afruz captivated the audience with her poems written in a child-friendly language, providing engaging and simple explanations to the students.
The literary evening unfolded in a cheerful atmosphere, with students receiving insightful answers to their inquiries.
