On April 23 of this year, a discussion took place at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy as part of the series “The Image of Modern Women Leaders”.

The event, organized by the Council of the Women's Committee and the Women's Club “Leader” of the UWED, was attended by the Deputy Head of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Tashkent, Lieutenant Colonel Shirin Normatova, faculty and students of the university.

A discussion took place on issues of protecting the legitimate interests of women and ensuring their equal rights with men. Particular attention is paid to the socio-political role of women in the modern world, their overcoming of stereotypes and challenges on the path to a successful professional career.

          The event became a fruitful forum for exchanging views on issues of gender equality and supporting women leaders.
