On November 16 of the this year, a meeting between the rector and students of the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy took place.

During the meeting, the first deputy chairman of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the rector of UWED, Sodyq Safoev, awarded students of the Academic Lyceum who had achieved high results in their academic activities in accordance with the presidential decree No. 4910 “On measures to improve the system of selecting talented youth and the activities of academic lyceums”. Rector Sodyq Safoev wished the students of the Academic Lyceum further success in their studies and emphasized that gifted students are the future of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

In the second half of the meeting, a professional diplomat, second-class advisor, and associate professor of the Department of International Relations at UWED, Rasulov Adkham Gafurovich, spoke to the students of the Academic Lyceum about diplomatic protocol and its foundations. The meeting proceeded in an informal format, allowing students to ask questions about the diplomat’s profession and receive valuable information.

 

The event took place in a positive atmosphere, and the meeting with the students of the Academic Lyceum at UWED will serve as a stimulus for their further academic activities.
