A court session was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy
In order to enhance the legal literacy, legal knowledge, and skills of students, a meeting of the Mobile Court took place at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy on November 15, 2023. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Mirzo-Ulugbek District Court for Criminal Cases, Sh. Bakaev, and judges M. Kayumov, S. Abduganiev, and M. Kukiev.
They briefed the students on the content and essence of the “Uzbekistan-2030” strategy, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 11, 2023, No. PD-158. Additionally, they discussed amendments made to the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the application of international norms to procedural legislation.
The processes of mobile courts conducted in educational institutions enable students to acquire practical skills in the field of criminal procedure. Such processes assist students not only in advancing their legal knowledge but also in developing analytical abilities. The objectives of the Mobile Court event were successfully achieved.
During the meeting, students received answers to their questions regarding the prevention of youth crime, specifically addressing theft, violations of traffic rules, cybercrimes, and protective measures against them.
