On April 19th of this year, a solemn closing ceremony of the TIDA debate tournament was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy as part of the “Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy”.

The tournament was organized at the initiative of the “UWED Ecoclub” Environmental Club, in collaboration with the Environmental Party of Uzbekistan and the ZIYO Forum, within the framework of the project “Strengthening Higher Education in the Water Sector to Ensure Climate Change Resilience and Security in Central Asia” (HWCA).

During the discussions, participants exchanged views and presented practical solutions on topics such as environmental sustainability, green technologies, water resource management, climate change, and renewable energy sources.

At the final stage, the winning and prize-winning teams were awarded commemorative gifts and certificates. After the awards ceremony, trees were planted in the university garden.
