UWED held a master class on the topic of “Crimes against the order of governance”

On April 1 of this year, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy for 2nd-year students of the Faculty of International Law, within the framework of the subject “Criminal Law”, on the initiative of the First Vice-Rector for Work with Youth and Spiritual and Educational Work of UWED O. Yusupdjanov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of International Law and Public Law Disciplines D. Soliev and Tutor of the Faculty A. Nasimzhonov, a master class on the topic of “Crimes against the order of governance” was held.
The report was made by the prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Department of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan D. Erkinov and the judge of the Sergeli District Court for Criminal Cases of Tashkent D. Chorieva.
At the beginning of the master class, opinions were expressed and explanations were given to students on issues of ensuring a high level of implementation of the priority tasks outlined in the report of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the extended meeting of the National Anti-Corruption Council, as well as on educating young people in the spirit of “Intolerance to Corruption” in the fight against corruption and conveying to young people the essence of systemically implemented changes. Then the students learned about the current problems of crimes against the order of governance, as well as modern methods of their prevention and combating them. Judge D. Chorieva also told the students in detail about the secrets of this responsible and complex profession, what qualities and skills one must have to become a judge, what situations and examples they encounter in practice.
Students also had the opportunity to improve their professional skills during the practical lesson. As a result of the master class, the students received new knowledge and skills necessary to combat crimes against the order of governance.
