On April 4th of this year, a reading evening dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Mahmudhoja Behbudiy's birth was held for students at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The event was opened by Shohida Shakirova, the head of the Center for Five Important Initiatives at the UWED, who highlighted Behbudiy's selfless activities, his significant achievements in the field of enlightenment, and his creative legacy that has retained its relevance even today. She also called on young people to strive for knowledge and enlightenment, and to cultivate a love for reading.

Within the framework of the event, a discussion was organized on the life and work of Behbudi. The participants exchanged views on the difficult life path of the great enlightener, his spiritual and enlightenment views and the significance of his works for modern times.

In addition, talented students prepared special presentations on Behbudi's activities and work, in which they highlighted in detail his achievements in the development of the nation.
