From March 7 to 10, 2025, the team from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), consisting of students of the Faculty of International Law Sarvinoz Abdunazarova, Bohodir Dadaev, Eldor Elmuradov, and Kamola Usmonova, participated in the Western and South Asian Regional Round of the prestigious John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition on World Trade Organization (WTO) law.
The team was coached by faculty members from the "WTO Law" department, Umid Yakubkhodjaev and Diyora Shukurova. The competition was held in India and brought together 26 teams from leading universities in India and Sri Lanka.
In a highly competitive environment, the UWED team demonstrated deep knowledge of WTO law, strong analytical skills, and exceptional public speaking abilities, securing a place among the top five teams in the tournament. This achievement highlights the high level of preparation of UWED students and their ability to perform effectively on the international stage.

Organized in collaboration with the World Trade Organization (WTO), the competition focuses on international trade law. Its goal is to enhance participants' understanding of WTO law, dispute settlement procedures, and their overall ability to engage in multilateral trade negotiations.
