    UWED Hosts Meeting with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in France

    On January 30, 2025, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) hosted a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to France, Nodir Mavzurovich Ganiev. 

    The meeting was attended by UWED’s Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, G. Ismailova, as well as the heads of relevant departments and divisions. 

    During the discussion, participants explored prospects for cooperation with educational and research institutions in France. Key topics included organizing guest lectures and expert meetings with representatives of leading analytical centers, facilitating student and faculty exchange programs, and developing international research projects. Special attention was given to opportunities for participation in grant funding programs such as Erasmus and identifying potential partners for joint initiatives.

    The possibilities of organizing language courses and professional development programs for UWED faculty in France were also considered, along with the university’s readiness to welcome professors from French institutions for collaborative work. 

    The Ambassador highly appreciated the proposed initiatives, emphasizing their significance, and expressed his readiness to support their implementation. He also conveyed his confidence that French universities and analytical centers would be interested in collaborating with UWED as a leading educational and research institution in Central Asia. 

    At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to continue their cooperation and implement the proposed initiatives to strengthen academic and scientific ties between Uzbekistan and France.
