UWED hosted a master class by the Deputy Director of the Center for Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia at Renmin University
On January 15 this year, a master class by Liu Xu, Deputy Director of the Center for Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia at Renmin University (People's Republic of China), was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event, organized by the Department of International Relations of UWED, was attended by faculty, doctoral students and students.
During the event, Mr. Liu Xu shared his experience and knowledge in the field of international relations and foreign policy. In particular, the expert spoke in detail about China's current energy policy, its foreign policy initiatives, as well as the role of the energy sector in China-Eastern Europe-Russia and China-Central Asia relations.
During his speech, the scientist also paid special attention to China's efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, the country's development strategy until 2030 and mutually beneficial cooperation with the countries of Central Asia.
In conclusion, Liu Xu answered all the students' questions and expressed important practical ideas regarding the future development of cooperation between China and Central Asia. He called for solidarity and cooperation in the fight against climate change, non-traditional threats and global crises.
