On December 23 of this year, a meeting with the Third Secretary for Cultural Affairs of the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Uzbekistan Hiroe Miyazaki was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

It was attended by second-year students of the faculties of "International Relations" and "International Economic Relations".

Mr. H. Miyazaki shared the features of the diplomatic service, focusing special attention on the professional qualities that employees of this unit must have. The Japanese diplomat also emphasized the importance of good knowledge of foreign languages, as a key factor in a successful career in the field of diplomacy.

In addition, H. Miyazaki spoke about the current level and prospects of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Japan, noting the importance of cultural exchange in deepening cooperation between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, the diplomat answered numerous questions from students, which contributed to an active discussion and exchange of views on the topics raised.
