On November 25 this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted an online meeting between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Germany Dilshod Akhatov and UWED teachers and students, as well as students of the Academic Lyceum at UWED.

During the meeting, the ambassador spoke in detail about the political and economic situation in Germany, analyzed the current state of Uzbek-German relations and shared his experience of working in the diplomatic service with future diplomats.

In turn, the students showed interest in issues of practical interaction between diplomatic missions and educational institutions, as well as studying examples of successful projects implemented within the framework of Uzbek-German cooperation.

Following the meeting, the topic of expanding cooperation between UWED and German universities was raised. In response, D. Akhatov expressed the embassy's readiness to support initiatives to strengthen educational ties. In this regard, he noted that this format of online meetings significantly contributes to the exchange of experience and knowledge between students and diplomats, as well as the active development of international academic cooperation.
