UWED students visited the Anti-Corruption Agency
On November 17, 2024, students from the UWED visited the Anti-Corruption Agency as part of a field lecture on the subject “Public Service.”
The event was organized with the assistance of the course instructor, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Gulnoza Ismailova, and Deputy Director of the Agency, Umida Tukhtasheva.
The lecture was delivered by Mushtariy Madraximova, an Oxford University graduate who currently works at the Agency and is actively involved in anti-corruption initiatives.
During the lecture, participants discussed key issues related to combating corruption, including:
• formation of intolerance to corruption;
• effective measures to prevent corruption;
• the role of international organizations cooperating with the Agency;
• the implementation of Compliance systems in organizations and their importance in promoting transparency.
The event was highly informative and sparked significant interest among the students. Not only did the participants gain valuable insights, but they also had the opportunity to ask questions, making the session both interactive and engaging.
