On November 18 of this year, the head of the Turkish state television - TRT in Uzbekistan Nizam Shahin visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. During the visit, a master class was held on the topic of "Diplomatic journalism and the concept of international media".
The meeting, organized by the Department of Romance and Germanic Languages, was attended by the faculty and students of UWED.
During his speech, Nizam Shaheen discussed key aspects of diplomatic journalism, emphasizing its role in shaping public opinion and influencing international relations. He noted that modern journalism should take into account not only facts, but also the context in which events occur in order to adequately reflect the complex processes of global politics.
The foreign expert also touched upon the issues of interaction between government agencies and the media, as well as the impact of new technologies on the dissemination of information. He emphasized the importance of a critical approach to sources of information and the need for professional ethics in the work of journalists.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of lively discussion and exchange of opinions, which contributed to the deepening of the participants' knowledge of the role of journalism in the modern world.
