The First Vice-Rector for Youth Issues and Educational Affairs of UWED met with the youth of the “difficult” category
As part of the implementation of the State Program for the Implementation of the Strategy "Uzbekistan - 2030" in the Year of Support for Youth and Business, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated March 20, 2024 No. 30 / 1-2003, it was determined that the youth of the "difficult" category will be assigned to the heads of local executive authorities and higher educational institutions.
On November 14 of this year, the first vice-rector of UWED for youth affairs and spiritual and educational work O.Yusupdjanov met with a group of such young people who found themselves in a difficult life situation.
The purpose of the meeting was an open, confidential conversation in order to find out the problems that concern young people and provide practical assistance in solving them. The meeting was attended by the UWED Rector's Advisor A. Turdimatov, the Head of the UWED Legal Clinic Z. Ubaidullaev, the Inspector for Prevention Sh. Boymatov, the specialist of the UWED Center "Five Important Initiatives" F. Ernazarova, the Chairman of the Youth Union S. Jiyanov, the head of the 2nd sector of the Yunusabad district of Tashkent Ya. Abdurakhmanov, the district prosecutor N. Maksumov, the Chairman of the YFY "Sevinch" M. Saidkhodjaev, the youth leader of the YFY "Sevinch" Zh. Bakhtiyarov, the Chairman of the YFY "Akhmat Donish" R. Djalilov, the youth leader of the YFY "Akhmat Donish" M. Khasanov. During the conversation, the First Vice-Rector of the University O.Yusupdjanov in his speech emphasized the reforms implemented in our country to support youth, the opportunities created and the need for their wise use. During the meeting, individual conversations were held with young people attached to the university, as well as research into their existing problems and questions of interest to them. At the same time, specific information was studied on whether the problems identified at previous meetings had been resolved or still existed. At the meeting with the UWED management, the young people received answers to many of their questions, and the responsible persons also stated that 13 young people could be transferred to the green category.
