From May 21 to May 24 of this year, UWED teachers I.Khamedov, R. Yusuvalieva and Sh. Safarova took part in the XVII session of the European-Asian Legal Congress “Legal Cooperation and Social Progress”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of S.S. Alekseev.

The event took place at the Ural State Law University (USLU).

At the plenary session of the Congress, held on May 23, along with leading legal scholars of the Russian Federation, Professor of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy I.A. Khamedov spoke.

UWED teachers took part in the panel discussion of the international law section “International legal cooperation and social progress”.

On the same day, a meeting of participants and partners of the Consortium “European-Asian Law University” - delegations of UWED and TSUL of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus - with the rector of USLU Vladimir Aleksandrovich Bublik took place. During this meeting, a discussion took place of the agenda and results of activities for 2023-2024 and the Program of activities for the next period, prospects for further cooperation between universities, and joint training programs.

On May 24, UWED representatives took part in the section “Philosophy of Law: Social and Spiritual Value Guidelines. To the 100th anniversary of S.S. Alekseev”.
