On June 6 of this year a meeting was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy with Professor Moyra Boland, the Dean of Global Engagement in Central and South Asia at the University of Glasgow (Great Britain).

During the meetings, the matters of expansion of joint academic programs were discussed and further steps for developing the partnership between the two universities, including establishment of joint post-graduate double degree programs in the areas of international relations, international law, and MBA were outlined.

 Bilateral LOI was signed on expansion of academic collaboration between the School of Law of the University of Glasgow and the Faculty of International Law of UWED. 

Should be noted, UWED and the University of Glasgow conduct joint educational programs for senior executives of various sectors of the Uzbekistan economy, carry out academic exchange programs and collaborate in research activities on various aspects of international relations.
