On June 6 of this year, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, and the Rector of UWED, Sodyq Safoev, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman, Wafa Jabr Nasser Albusaidi.

During the meeting, the importance of academic exchange and conducting joint research between UWED and leading educational institutions in Oman was emphasized.

The Ambassador expressed readiness to assist in developing new educational programs and enhancing the qualifications of Arabic language instructors at UWED.

Rector S. Safoyev invited the Omani Ambassador to give lectures at UWED, noting that this would provide an opportunity for students to better understand the country, discuss regional and global issues, and ask questions of interest.
