Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China gave a lecture at University of World Economy and Diplomacy
On May 1 of this year, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Yu Jun, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Uzbekistan, gave a lecture on the topic: “Development of Chinese-Uzbek relations in a new era”.
The Ambassador spoke in detail to the faculty and students of UWED about the history and current state of relations between China and Uzbekistan, focusing on the achievements achieved in various fields. He also emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries, noting the growth of trade and economic cooperation, joint projects within the framework of the One Belt, One Road initiative, as well as active interaction in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
The diplomat paid special attention to the prospects for the development of innovative cooperation, digitalization of the economy, as well as joint efforts in the field of education and training.
At the end of his lecture, representatives of leading Chinese companies operating in our country made a presentation of projects implemented in cooperation with Uzbekistan.
Following the event, the Chinese Embassy donated a collection of Chinese language curricula to the UWED library.
