An oratory competition in Chinese was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy
On April 24 of this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted an oratory competition in Chinese, in which 2nd and 3rd year university students studying Chinese took part.
The competition consisted of three parts: a speech in Chinese on the topic “The world is one family”, tests on knowledge of the history, geography and culture of the China, and a creative part. In the creative part of the competition, participants performed songs, dances, and recited poetry in Chinese.
The jury included Chinese language teachers from Tashkent state university of oriental studies, native Chinese-speaking volunteers and teachers from the Department of Oriental Languages at UWED.
