A lecture on current issues in international public law has been conducted
A lecture on current issues in international public law was held on December 13 of the current year for professors and students of the Faculty of International Law at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. The lecture was delivered by Professor Rein Muellerson, a renowned specialist in international law. During the lecture, Professor Rein Muellerson shared his views on the interpretation of the fundamental principles of international public law and contemporary approaches to the application of international law. The event was attended by the Acting Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation N. Nugmanov, the dean of the faculty U. Yakubkhojaev, as well as the faculty and students of the university.
Participants in the lecture received valuable information about current issues in international public law and gained a deeper understanding of the challenges within the system today. Rein Muellerson is an honorary professor at Tallinn University. From 2009 to 2017, he served as the rector of North Tallinn University, president of the Faculty of Law, and professor-researcher at Tallinn University. From 1994 to 2009, he was a professor of international law at King's College in London. In 2004, he worked as a regional advisor to the UN for Central Asia.
