In order to improve the professional qualifications of teachers, as well as organize internships for students studying Italian in Italy and develop inter-university relations, the Department of Romano-Germanic Languages is constantly developing and expanding cooperation between UWED and various universities in Italy.

On June 27, 2023, a working trip was made by representatives of the Department of Romano-Germanic Languages represented by the Head of the Department Mamatkasimova V.A. and teachers Madrakhimovai M.A., Saidazimova S.Y. to the University of Perugia. As part of the trip, a meeting was held with the rector of the University of Perugia (Italian: Università degli Studi di Perugia) Valerio De Cesaris, with the head of the international relations department Valentina Seri and with the head of the educational and methodological department Roberto Dolci. During the meeting, negotiations were held on the prospects for signing a cooperation agreement between UWED and the University of Perugia.

Within the framework of cooperation between the University of Perugia and UWED, it is planned to organize internships for students in Italy, as well as to improve the qualifications of teachers.
