On September 8 of this year, a round table on the topic "Crime prevention" was held with the participation of judges of the Mirzo-Ulugbek District Court for criminal cases for students of UWED.
The discussion was held on measures aimed at combating drug addiction, its sale, acquisition and consumption being implemented in our country.
During the conversation, the speakers gave examples from numerous practices, the event arose great interest among all students.
At the end of the round table, students received detailed answers from experts to all their questions.

8 сентября текущего года состоялся круглый стол на тему "Профилактика преступности" с участием судей Мирзо-Улугбекского районного суда по уголовным делам для студентов университета УМЭД.
Обсуждалось, что в нашей стране реализуются меры, направленные на борьбу с наркозависимостью, направленные против ее продажи, приобретения и потребления.
В ходе беседы спикерами были приведены примеры из многочисленных практик, мероприятие вызвало большой интерес у всех студентов.
По итогам круглого стола студенты получили подробные ответы экспертов по всем интересующим их вопросам.

Representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Copyright Protection of Artists, Creators and Performers, the International Law Association of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State Law University, &ldquo;Silk Road&rdquo; International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Samarkand, and professors and students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy participated at this event. During the roundtable, international-legal aspects of cultural heritage protection and the role of UNESCO, international-legal issues of returning cultural heritage objects transported abroad, the importance of cultural heritage in the development of tourism, as well as the advanced experience of EU countries in this regard, moreover their implementation to Uzbekistan and other issues related to the topic were discussed.

В мероприятии приняли участия представители Министерства туризма и культурного наследия Республики Узбекистан, Академии наук Республики Узбекистан, Палаты по охране авторских прав артистов, творцов и исполнителей, Ассоциации международного права Узбекистана, Ташкентского государственного юридического университета, Самаркандского международного университета туризма и культурного наследия &laquo;Шелковый путь&raquo;, а также профессорско-преподавательский состав и студенты Университета мировой экономики и дипломатии. В ходе круглого стола были обсуждены международно-правовые основы охраны культурного наследия, роль ЮНЕСКО, международно-правовые вопросы возвращения объектов культурного наследия, вывезенных за границу, значение культурного наследия в развитии туризма, а также передовые опыты стран ЕС, вопросы имплементации в Республики Узбекистан и другие аспекты, связанные с темой.

Also, during his speech, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that global problems such as climate change, water and food security crisis pose a serious threat to sustainable development.
It was noted that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, due to its firm commitment to the principles of openness and non-alignment, strengthens the beneficial relations between the participating countries and successfully deepens international cooperation.
It should be noted that the structure of the SCO is expanding and our partnership is developing.
This Summit is significant with the signing of the Memorandum on the obligations of the Islamic Republic of Iran as a member of this organization. The status of dialogue partners was given to the Arab Republic of Egypt and the State of Qatar.
In addition, it is planned to grant the status of a full member of the SCO to the Republic of Belarus, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, the Republic of Maldives, the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar - the status of dialogue partners.
Based on the above, it can be said that the Samarkand summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will start a turning point for the transformation and advancement of this organization to a new level. This conference serves to strengthen mutually beneficial global cooperation on a global scale.

Слушая выступление Шавката Мирзиёева на саммите ШОС, состоявшемся в Самарканде 16 сентября текущего года, следует отметить, что в период председательства в ШОС Узбекистан стремился к активизации практического сотрудничества в рамках организации и повышению ее международного авторитета.
Кроме того, в этот период особое внимание уделялось не только вопросам безопасности, но и расширению сотрудничества в гуманитарной сфере. Несмотря на пандемический кризис, в нашей стране было проведено более 80 крупных мероприятий.
Также в ходе своего выступления Президент Шавкат Мирзиёев подчеркнул, что глобальные проблемы, такие как изменение климата, кризис водной и продовольственной безопасности, представляют серьезную угрозу устойчивому развитию.

Следует отметить, что структура ШОС расширяется, наше партнерство развивается.

The official opening of ZAKOVAT UWED took place at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. During the event, the teams that won the ZAKOVAT organized in the 2021-2022 academic year were awarded, and members of the new organizational structure of student youth were also presented. In turn, the organizational structure introduced the intellectual youth to the ZAKOVAT programs and projects that are planned to be implemented in the 2022-2023 academic year. The coordinator of the ZAKOVAT UWED Club Tillakhodzhaeva Sayora Kabuldzhanovna also spoke, she gave the students her advice and wished them good luck in their future activities.

В ходе мероприятия были награждены команды, победившие в ZAKOVAT, организованных в 2021-2022 учебном году, а также были представлены члены новой организационной структуры студенческой молодежи. Kasallik ko&lsquo;pincha 20-49 yoshlilar o&lsquo;rtasida qayd etiladi. Bugungi kunda ushbu kasallikdan tuzalishning iloji bo&lsquo;lmasa-da, Antiretrovirus terapiya (ART) orqali kasallik asoratlarini yumshatish, bevaqt o&lsquo;limning oldini olish mumkin. So&lsquo;nggi olib borilgan kuzatishlar shuni ko&lsquo;rsatmoqdaki, doimiy terapiyada bo&lsquo;lgan bemorlar kasallik rivojlana boshlaganidan so&lsquo;ng ham 20 yilgacha umr ko&lsquo;rishi mumkin. Hozirgi vaqtda respublikamizda 48 mingdan ortiq shaxsda OIV kasalligi tashxislangan. So&lsquo;nggi 5 yilda OIV infeksiyasiga tekshiruvlar soni 700 mingdan 3,5 millionga yoki 5 barobarga ortgan. Hukumat tomonidan dori vositalarini moliyalashtirish 80 foizni tashkil etmoqda. OIV – dolzarb muammo

On December 4 of this year, a meeting with invited speakers from higher scientific and educational institutions was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
The event was attended by the Doctor of Political Sciences Vladimir Avatkov and the director of the Institute of Strategic Studies and Forecasts Dmitry Egorchenkov.
The guests were introduced by the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations Sh. Arapov to the student audience.
Russian political scientists read lectures on the topics: &ldquo;Foreign policy of the Turkish Republic at the present stage&rdquo; and &ldquo;Cultural sympathy in the post-Soviet space.&rdquo;
At the end of the lecture, students and teachers actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about the policies of various countries. This exchange is considered successful, providing participants with greater insight into their future career directions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Sh. Arapov thanked the scientists and expressed hope for establishing permanent scientific and educational contacts.
This seminar turned out to be intense, providing all those present with necessary and new knowledge.

По завершении лекции студенты и преподаватели активно участвовали в дискуссии, задавая вопросы о политике различных стран. Этот обмен мнениями считается успешным, предоставляя участникам более глубокое понимание своих будущих профессиональных направлений. 
В заключении встречи Ш.Арапов поблагодарил ученых и выразил надежду на установление постоянных научно-образовательных контактов.

On November 8&ndash;9 the summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization was held in Tashkent under the chairmanship of Uzbekistan. This was the sixteenth summit in the history of the ECO. The organization was formed in 1985 by Turkey, Iran and Pakistan. The ECO was the successor to the Organization for Regional Development Cooperation, which operated under the 1977 Izmir Treaty between the three countries. In 1992, seven countries joined the organization: Afghanistan and six former Soviet republics: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The organization holds summits every two years.
Although the development of economic cooperation and trade relations are the key topics of the conference, cooperation in other areas is also actively discussed at the summits. In recent years, the organization's versatility in this regard has been increasingly observed, which is associated with the global unstable geopolitical situation and the escalation of challenges. The latest summit was no exception. In Tashkent, the leaders of the ECO member states discussed a very wide range of issues, which was reflected in the Tashkent Communique [3]. In general, the issues raised can be divided into three large groups of issues: first, the expansion of regional trade and economic cooperation; secondly, the development of cross-border transport and logistics trade infrastructure; thirdly, various security issues.
Today, Uzbekistan&rsquo;s interest in expanding regional cooperation is as high as ever [2]. The article will analyze the prospects for participation in the ECO against the backdrop of the past summit. It is necessary to identify the main areas where the organization has potential for further growth, as well as the problems and challenges that the organization faces.
Trade and Economic Cooperation
Economic cooperation and trade are the main areas of work of the ECO. Of course, the goal of the organization is not to develop full-fledged integration processes. The ECO is primarily a platform for the development of economic cooperation, not necessarily comprehensive, but also bilateral within the ECO or trilateral. For example, the communique highlights close trade and economic ties between such ECO member countries as Turkey-Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan, Turkey-Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan, Iran-Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan, which managed to create bilateral and multilateral mechanisms for sustainable trade and economic cooperation [3].
But at the same time, the ECO is clearly failing to realize its full potential. For example, as Sh. Mirziyoyev stated, last year trade between the ECO countries amounted to $85 billion, which means only 8 percent of their total foreign trade. Years of attempts to conclude an agreement on preferential trade have not yielded the expected results; many other restrictions and obstacles remain ways to create unimpeded trade [5].
To overcome obstacles to expanding economic cooperation, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed developing a new conceptual document &ldquo;Strategic Goals of Economic Cooperation - 2035.&rdquo; Such a framework document should stipulate the general principles on the basis of which trade and economic cooperation, humanitarian issues, tourism, energy security, transport logistics, etc. And finally, the President of Uzbekistan called for the development of a single trade agreement to reduce trade barriers, which would already give the organization some signs of an integration association [5].
The main constraint on the economic development of the ECO is that most of its members are landlocked: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. In addition, due to difficult geographical conditions, cross-border logistics are underdeveloped. To achieve the pace of sustainable development, countries first need to develop cross-border transport infrastructure
Trade Transport Corridors and Logistics
The development of international transport corridors is another important area of cooperation within the ECO. In general, the organization&rsquo;s space has very high logistics potential. But this potential is fragmented across individual regions and is not integrated. External players invest primarily in the development of trade and economic routes. Russia and India are developing a North-South corridor, to which Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Iran are related among ECO members; China is developing the Silk Road Economic Belt, in which all ECO members participate, including routes through Central Asia to Western Asia, such as the Trans-Caspian route and others; China is separately developing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
The key directions of transport corridors for access to deep-sea ports are indicated in the communiqu&eacute; as Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Oman-Qatar; the Tajikistan-Afghanistan corridor will also be added to this direction [3].
Integration of trade logistics within the ECO can significantly contribute to opening up greater opportunities for Central Asian countries to access the developing markets of South Asia, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region [4]. Sh. Mirziyoyev in particular spoke about the need for development in this direction during the summit. This could help Central Asian countries significantly diversify their foreign trade relations through access to new markets. For example, it is already difficult to imagine sustainable economic and, importantly, technological development without interaction with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, where the largest production capacities are now concentrated.
The leaders of Azerbaijan and Turkey told about the need to invest in the development of the trans-Caspian corridor. This area is indeed becoming increasingly relevant, as security risks are gradually decreasing against the backdrop of regulating the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia [4].
The ECO has a Framework Agreement on Transport Transit, an important element in building logistics systems in the region. On the basis of this agreement, ECO members can conclude bilateral or multilateral agreements on transit concessions or improvement of access systems. For example, the communiqu&eacute; mentions the digitalization of transit systems. In this direction, Sh. Mirziyoyev, as chairman, proposed, in order to widely introduce digitalization of cargo transportation data and effective coordination of such modern systems, the creation of a Digital Transport and Customs Office of the ECO in Tashkent [5].
Security Issues
Security issues are among the most complex on the ECO agenda. Despite the economic nature of the organization and despite numerous contradictions between members on various issues of regional security, countries do not avoid discussing them. 
Predictably, the most important topic at the summit was the issue of Afghanistan. ECO members are closely monitoring the internal political situation in Afghanistan and in many respects the views of the partners converge on this issue. Iran and Tajikistan continue to insist on the need to form a more inclusive government in Afghanistan and ensure women's rights and freedoms to maintain a stable socio-political situation [1]. All ECO member countries confirmed their intention to continue to provide humanitarian support to Afghanistan. Also, all parties remained committed to the Afghanistan Support Program being implemented within the framework of the ECO. It should also be noted that despite the high risks, the ECO continues to consider Afghanistan as an important part in the transport and logistics system of the region, thus remaining committed to one of the key principles of the organization - inclusivity.
The organization pays special attention to the issue of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and resolving the Karabakh conflict to maintain stability in the Caucasus. At the initiative of Azerbaijan and Turkey, the final communiqu&eacute; included clauses on the territories returned by Azerbaijan and the Zangezur economic corridor [3]. In general, the parties confirmed their commitment to the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
In addition, the countries discussed issues of energy and food security. The first is especially relevant for the countries of Central Asia in conditions where the countries of the region often begin to face an energy crisis. It is noteworthy that green energy was named as one of the main ways to resolve this problem in the results of the communiqu&eacute;. This is fully consistent with the trends in the energy security policy of Uzbekistan where in energy strategy since 2021 green energy has occupied a special attention. 
This issue is also closely related to the environmental problems faced by most countries in the world, especially the regions belonging to the ECO. These are problems such as entanglement, which worsens the food security situation, and melting glaciers, which worsens the water security situation. In this regard, the ECO countries are focusing on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and continue to coordinate their actions in this direction.
The summit also devoted time and attention to the issue of food security. Last year, many countries around the world in Africa and the Middle East faced a food crisis. In a difficult geopolitical situation, this could happen again. The special geographical conditions of the region also make this problem difficult. Within the framework of the ECO, there is a Regional Program for Food Security. The interaction of ECO member states within the framework of this program is increasing. Regional ministerial meetings on this issue are held regularly.
Summit results
The past summit definitely became the most eventful with various initiatives in the history of the organization. The summit can be called a breakthrough, since initiatives, including those of Uzbekistan, will still be considered. The absence of taboo topics at the summit indicates a high level of trust; the parties managed to come to common conclusions on various issues, including security, despite the contradictions and the economic nature of the organization. This will certainly also raise the authority of the organization on the world arena.
Conclusuon
As it was found out when analyzing various areas of cooperation within the organization, the ECO has impressive potential for growth. Two main scenarios stand out: either the ECO will continue to develop as an advanced platform for discussion and cooperation, or even as an international institution with elements of a trade association in the case of the implementation of Tashkent&rsquo;s initiative.
By actively entering into the processes of regionalization, the countries of Central Asia, including Uzbekistan, have two key goals, firstly, access to new markets, and secondly, ensuring their energy security. Both of these areas within the ECO have even greater potential than the trade and economic one. The initiative to integrate the main transport corridors in Eurasia will help solve several problems at once. In this way, Central Asian countries can expand access to deep-sea ports in the Indian Ocean.

Organization of economic cooperation as a factor in regional development: problems and prospects

On December 17-20 this year, the final stage of the intellectual Olympiad &ldquo;Zakovat&rdquo; among students was held in Tashkent city.
In the Republican stage of the Olympiad, 50 strongest student teams from different regions will compete for the title of the winner.
As part of the closing ceremony of the Olympiad, the final game &ldquo;Brain-Ring&rdquo; was held.

3rd place: National University of Uzbekistan

First-year student of the Faculty of International Relations of UWED Kholova Mutabar under the guidance of the teacher of the department of Uzbek and Russian languages Israilova K.I. from 10/16/23 to 11/19/23 she took part in the IV International Olympiad of St. Petersburg State University in Russian as a Foreign Language and took an honorable third place in the first age category (12-17 years). An Olympic medalist diploma gives a great advantage when entering St. Petersburg State University.
The Russian language teacher K.I. Israilova himself took part in the same Olympiad. in the second age category (18-35 years old) and became the winner, taking an honorable first place.
As prizes Israilova K.I. and Kholova Mutabar received vouchers for the winner and prize-winner of the IV International Olympiad of St. Petersburg State University in Russian as a Foreign Language for the opportunity to take free state testing in Russian as a foreign language (TRFL) at St. Petersburg State University.

В этой же Олимпиаде принял участие и сам преподаватель русского языка Исраилова К.И. во второй возрастной категории (18-35 лет) и стал победителем, заняв почетное первое место.
В качестве призов Исраилова К.И. и Холова Муътабар получили ваучеры победителя и призера IV Международной олимпиады Санкт-Петербургского государственного университета по русскому языку как иностранному на возможность бесплатного прохождения государственного тестирования по русскому языку как иностранному (ТРКИ) в Санкт-Петербургском государственном университете.
Стоит отметить, что в Олимпиаде участвовало 8770 иностранных граждан и занять призовые места было непросто.

This event is planned to be held by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan on January 28 - February 2 this year in Baku.
This international forum is a dynamic and interactive platform that brings together young experts from different countries to participate in discussions on climate change topics.

On March 30 of this year, a meeting was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy initiated by the &ldquo;Soft power diplomacy researchers&rdquo; club with the renowned diplomat and Chairman of the Central Asian Association of Artificial Intelligence (AICA), Vladimir Norov.
The event was attended by university leaders, faculty members, and students of UWED. 
During the meeting, V. Norov shared valuable insights from his extensive diplomatic experience and discussed current trends in the field of artificial intelligence. Participants had the opportunity to receive answers to various questions regarding Uzbekistan's soft power policy and other relevant topics.
As a result of the event, an agreement was reached to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between AICA and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

30 марта текущего года в Университете мировой экономики и дипломатии по инициативе клуба &ldquo;Soft power diplomacy researchers&rdquo; состоялась встреча с известным дипломатом, председателем Центрально-Азиатской ассоциации искусственного интеллекта (AICA) Владимиром Норовым. 
В мероприятии приняли участие руководители вуза, профессорско-преподавательский состав и студенты УМЭД.
В ходе встречи В.Норов поделился ценной информацией о своем многолетнем опыте дипломатической работы и современных тенденциях в области искусственного интеллекта. Участники встречи получили ответы на многие вопросы о политике &laquo;мягкой силы&raquo; Узбекистана и многом другом.
По итогам мероприятия была достигнута договоренность о подписании Меморандума между AICA и Университетом мировой экономики и дипломатии.

The Bachelor's degree in Political Science is an innovative program implemented at the Faculty of International Relations, which provides a combination of fundamental and practice-oriented training. To understand politics professionally, you need a broad education. Among the professional disciplines, future bachelors study political theory, the political history of foreign countries, world politics and international relations, political anthropology, etc. Along with them, students receive knowledge in the field of economics, sociology, law, and programming languages. A future politician must have communication skills. Therefore, it is mandatory to train and develop communication skills. Students practice in state and non-state organizations, analytical and consulting centers.
Graduates can hold positions in the leadership of political parties, cooperate with consulting organizations. They understand the political situation in Uzbekistan and abroad, can give advice, model strategies for candidates for various posts, and lead the election race. Graduates have the opportunity to work in public authorities, in the field of political research, political analysis and consulting, PR, GR, in areas where analytical skills are needed and a broad outlook is useful.

Бакалавриат &laquo;Политология&raquo; - инновационная программа, реализуемая на факультете &laquo;Международные отношения&raquo;, обеспечивает сочетание фундаментальной и практико-ориентированной подготовки. Чтобы профессионально разбираться в политике, необходимо широкое образование. Среди профессиональных дисциплин будущие бакалавры изучают политическую теорию, политическую историю зарубежных стран, мировую политику и международные отношения, политическую антропологию и др. Наряду с ними студенты получают знания в области экономики, социологии, права, языков программирования. Будущий политик должен владеть навыками коммуникации. Поэтому в обязательном порядке обучают и развивают коммуникационные навыки. Практику студенты проходят в государственных и негосударственных организациях, аналитических и консалтинговых центрах.
Выпускники могут занимать посты в руководстве политических партий, сотрудничать с консалтинговыми организациями. Они разбираются в политической ситуации в Узбекистане и за рубежом, могут давать консультации, моделировать стратегии для кандидатов на различные посты, руководить предвыборной гонкой. Выпускники имеют возможность работать в органах государственной власти, в сфере политических исследований, политического анализа и консультирования, PR, GR, в сферах, где нужны аналитические навыки и полезен широкий кругозор.

Siyosatni professional tarzda tushunish uchun keng bilim kerak. Kasbiy fanlardan bo'lajak bakalavrlar siyosiy nazariya, xorijiy mamlakatlarning siyosiy tarixi, jahon siyosati va xalqaro munosabatlar, siyosiy antropologiya va boshqalarni o'rganadilar. The undergraduate program "International Relations" is focused on training specialists in the field of foreign policy, diplomacy, national and international security. Bachelors in International Relations study processes related to domestic and foreign policy activities, analyze, synthesize and predict international processes, apply advanced research methods of international and foreign policy activities, such as the use of systems analysis models, computer technology and programming, and the introduction of systems approach mechanisms.
The study of these issues takes place within the framework of relevant&nbsp;disciplines, providing knowledge on the history and theory of international relations, geopolitics, security theory, history, religion, language, economics, legal system, literature and culture of the peoples of the world, in the field of political science, the basics of diplomacy and foreign policy Uzbekistan.
Graduates have the skills of system and applied analysis, are able to solve non-standard problems and present the results of work using digital technologies. Thanks to the practice gained during the program and the knowledge of two foreign languages, people from UWED are in demand in the labor market.

Программа бакалавриата &laquo;Международные отношения&raquo; ориентирована на подготовку специалистов в области внешней политики, дипломатии, национальной и международной безопасности. Бакалавры в области международных отношений изучают процессы, связанные с внутри- и внешнеполитической деятельностью, анализируют, синтезируют и прогнозируют международные процессы, применяют передовые методы исследования международной и внешнеполитической деятельности, таких как применение моделей системного анализа, компьютерные технологии и программирование, внедрение механизмов системного подхода.
Изучение этих вопросов происходит в рамках соответствующих&nbsp;дисциплин, дающие знания по истории и теории международных отношений, геополитике, теории безопасности, истории, религии, языка, экономики, правовой системы, литературы и культуры народов мира, в сфере политических наук, основ дипломатии и внешней политики Узбекистана. 
Выпускники обладают навыками системного и прикладного анализа, умеют решать нестандартные задачи и презентовать результаты работы с использованием цифровых технологий. Благодаря получаемой практике в ходе программы и владению двумя иностранными языками, выходцы из УМЭД востребованы на рынке труда.

&ldquo;Xalqaro munosabatlar&rdquo; bakalavriat dasturi tashqi siyosat, diplomatiya, milliy va xalqaro xavfsizlik sohalarida mutaxassislar tayyorlashga qaratilgan. Xalqaro munosabatlar talabalari ichki va tashqi siyosiy faoliyat bilan bog'liq jarayonlarni o'rganadilar, xalqaro jarayonlarni tahlil qiladilar, sintezlaydilar, xalqaro va tashqi siyosat faoliyatining ilg'or tadqiqot usullarini qo'llaydilar, masalan, tizimli tahlil modellari, kompyuter texnologiyalari va dasturlash, shuningdek, joriy etish, tizimli yondashuv mexanizmlari.

Ulugbeck A.Khasanov was born in Tashkent in 1965. Between 1984-1986 he had served in Armed Forces. In 1986 he was admitted to Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), International journalism faculty. His pre-graduate practice was held in TASS (Russian Information Agency). After graduation from the University in 1991, he applied to Political Science of Postgraduate school of MGIMO.
In 1996 he was appointed as a Senior Expert to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During 1998-2000 Ulugbeck A.Khasanov delivered lectures at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In 2000 he was appointed as a Leading Consultant to the Press-service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In March 2003 he defended dissertation to obtain a PhD degree in Political Science at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Supervisor of his PhD dissertation was Professor, Dr.E.Pozdnyakov, and his official opponent was Dr. D.M.Feldman.
From April 2009 to March 2011 Ulugbeck A.Khasanov served as Press Secretary (State Advisor) to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.&nbsp;
Since 1998 he conducts lectures at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
He is fluent in Russian, English and Arabic languages. Since 2000 he is a member of International Press Institute, Vienna, Austria.
Ulugbeck A.Khasanov has 50 plus publications, monograph and textbooks. &nbsp;

Родился в 1965 году в г.Ташкенте. В 1984-1986 проходил срочную службу в Вооруженных Силах. В 1986 году поступил на факультет международной журналистики МГИМО. Преддипломную практику проходил в ТАСС. В 1991 году после окончания института продолжил учебу на очном отделении аспирантуры МГИМО по специальности "Политология".
В 1996 году назначен на должность ведущего специалиста в Кабинете Министров Республики Узбекистан.
В период с 1998 по 2000 годы преподавал в Академии государственного и общественного строительства при Президенте Республики Узбекистан.
В 2000 году был назначен ведущим консультантом Пресс-службы Президента Республики Узбекистан.
Весной 2003 года защитил диссертацию на соискание учений степени кандидата политических наук в Институте мировой экономики и международных отношений (ИМЭМО) Академии наук Российской Федерации. Научный руководитель - &nbsp;академик Э. А. Поздняков, официальный оппонент - д.п.н. Д. М. Фельдман. &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;
В период с апреля 2009 по март 2011 года исполнял обязанности Пресс Секретаря (Государственного Советника) Президента Республики Узбекистан.
С 1998 года преподает в Университете Мировой Экономики и Дипломатии.
Свободно владеет английским и арабским языками. С 2000 года входит в состав Международного института прессы (IPI) в г.Вена, Австрия.
Автор монографии, учебного пособия и более 50 публикаций.

1965 yilda Toshkent shahrida tavallud topgan. 1984-1986 yy. mamlakatning Qurolli kuchlarida muddatli xizmatni oʻtagan. 1986 yili Moskva xalqaro munosabatlar davlat institutining (MGIMO) xalqaro jurnalistika fakultetiga oʻqishga kirdi. 1998-2000 yy. mobaynida Oʻzbekiston Respublikasi Prezidenti huzuridagi Davlat va va jamiyat qurilishi akademiyasida dars berdi.
2000 yilda Oʻzbekiston Respublikasi Prezidenti Matbuot xizmatining yetakchi konsultanti lavozimiga tayinlandi.
2003 yilning bahorida Rossiya Federatsiyasining Fanlar akademiyasi Jahon iqtisodiyoti va xalqaro munosabatlar institutida (IMEMO) siyosiy fanlar nomzodi ilmiy darajasiga talabgor dissertatsiyasini yoqladi. Ilmiy rahbari &ndash; akademik E.A.Pozdnyakov, rasmiy opponenti &ndash; s.f.d. D.M.Feldman.
2009 yilning aprel oyidan - 2011 yilning mart oyigacha Oʻzbekiston Respublikasi Prezidenti Matbuot kotibi (Davlat maslahatchisi) vazifasini bajardi.

In 1992, he graduated from the Faculty of History of Tashkent State University, specialty: historian, teacher of history and social studies. FEATURES OF THE TEACHING OF COMMUNICATION TOOLS Knowledge of foreign languages allows a graduate of the faculty to become a highly qualified specialist in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. Faculty students have the opportunity to study 11 foreign languages, including European and Oriental. A faculty student must know at least two foreign languages. They study two foreign languages for four years:
the first language is the one they chose upon admission: English, French, German; the second language is optional, along with European (French, German, Spanish, Italian,) mainly oriental languages: Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Korean, Dari, Pashto. DEVELOPMENT The faculty constantly focuses on ongoing transformations in international relations and political sciences. The subjects of study are adapted to the study of political realities and research and pedagogical innovations. Recently, under the influence of the discussion around the issues of methods for studying international relations, applied interdisciplinary research in the field of foreign policy began to develop. Applied research has aroused interest from practical organizations. The results of predictive and analytical developments of the departments, published in the scientific press, are also of interest to foreign specialists. This gave impetus to the introduction of the results of theoretical and applied political science developments into the educational process in the form of special courses on international relations. New forms and methods of training have become widespread: modular and distance learning, value orientation, case studies, role-playing and business games, reflection and rotation methods, brainstorming, consulting, participation in official events, and the use of digital technologies.
In the studies conducted by the teaching staff, the foreign policy of countries and international political situations were studied from the standpoint of an interdisciplinary approach. Xalqaro munosabatlar fakulteti 1995-yilning oktabrida tashkil etildi. Fakultetning asosiy vazifasi O&lsquo;zbekiston Respublikasi Tashqi ishlar vazirligi, shuningdek, mamlakatimizning xorijiy davlatlar bilan aloqa olib boruvchi boshqa muassasalari, idora va tashkilotlari, chet mamlakatlardagi elchixonalari hamda xalqaro tashkilotlar uchun yuqori malakali kadrlar yetkazib berishdan iborat. Fakultet O&lsquo;zbekiston Respublikasining milliy manfaatlarini jahonning siyosiy maydonida himoya qila oladigan yetuk diplomatlar, siyosatshunoslar hamda xalqaro munosabatlar sohasining turli jabhalarida ishlay oladigan malakali mutaxassislarni tayyorlab bermoqda.

Xalqaro munosabatlar &ndash; gumanitar fanlar ta'lim sohasidagi yo&lsquo;nalish bo&lsquo;lib, u xalqaro munosabatlar sohasini rivojlantirishga, tashqi siyosat istiqbolini belgilashga, kasbiy ko&lsquo;nikmaga, mutasaddilik qobiliyatiga yo&lsquo;naltirilgan inson faoliyatining vositalari, usullari, metodlari va uslublarining majmuasini hamda siyosiy bilimlar tizimi bilan bevosita aloqador bo&lsquo;lgan xalqaro munosabatlar tarixi va nazariyasi, diplomatiya asoslari, O&lsquo;zbekiston va dunyo xalqlarining xalqaro munosabatlari, tarixi, dini, tili, iqtisodiyoti, huquqiy tizimi, adabiyoti va madaniyati haqidagi bilimlar bilan bog&lsquo;liq bo&lsquo;lgan nazariy va amaliy faoliyatini o&lsquo;z ichiga oladi.
&ldquo;Xalqaro munosabatlar&rdquo; ta'lim yo&lsquo;nalishi bo&lsquo;yicha bakalavrlar ichki va tashqi siyosiy faoliyat bilan bog&lsquo;liq jarayonlarni o&lsquo;zlashtirish va tadqiq qilish, istiqbolni belgilash jarayonlarini tahlil qilish, sintezlash va optimallashtirish, ilg&lsquo;or xalqaro metodlarini qo&lsquo;llash, tashqi siyosiy jarayonlar bo&lsquo;yicha tizimli tahlil modellarini qo&lsquo;llash, kompyuter texnologiyalari va dasturlash, tizimli yondoshuv mexanizmlarini tatbiq etish kabi kasbiy faoliyat turlarini qamrab oladi.

Siyosatshunoslik- bakalavr ta&rsquo;lim yo&lsquo;nalishi talabalari mutaxassislikka oid matnlarni o&lsquo;qish, tarjima va tahlil qilish, mutaxassislikka oid atamalarni yig&lsquo;ish, tasniflash va izohlash; mutaxassislikka oid siyosiy-ijtimoiy va tarixiy manbalarni o&lsquo;rganish va referatlash, asosiy chet tilida nashr qilingan asosiy darsliklar, o&lsquo;quv qo&lsquo;llanmalari, hozirgi zamon izohli lug&lsquo;atlari va boshqa nashrlar bilan tanishish, ularni tahlil qilish va baholash, shuningdek, jahon miqyosida O&lsquo;zbekiston Respublikasining tashqi siyosati va xalqaro munosabatlardagi o&lsquo;rni bilan bog&lsquo;liq bo&lsquo;lgan siyosiy jarayonlarni tadqiq qilish, O&lsquo;zbekiston Respublikasining jahon hamjamiyatidagi tutgan munosib mavqeyini yanada mustahkamlash va himoya qilish sohasidagi bilim va ko&lsquo;nikmalarni shakllantirishga yo&lsquo;naltirilgan.
Bakalavrlarning kasbiy faoliyati sohalari quyidagilarni qamrab oladi:
Ushbu yo'nalish bitiruvchilarida kasbiy kompetentsiyalarni shakllantirish siyosat nazariyasi, siyosiy fikr tarixi, siyosiy sotsiologiya, siyosiy etika, siyosiy falsafa asoslari, Rossiyaning siyosiy tarixi, siyosatshunoslik metodologiyasi, qiyosiy siyosatshunoslik, siyosiy psixologiya, siyosiy menejment, siyosiy konfliktologiya, siyosiy konsalting va PR, siyosiy tahlil va prognozlash, jahon siyosati va xalqaro dunyo mintaqalaridagi munosabatlar, siyosiy jarayonlar va institutlar.
Talabalar amaliy ko'nikmalarni ijtimoiy-siyosiy tashkilotlar va siyosiy partiyalarda, shuningdek shahar va mintaqaviy darajadagi ma'muriy organlarda, ommaviy axborot vositalarida olishadi. Siyosatshunoslarning pedagogik va ilmiy-tadqiqot faoliyati universitetlarda, akademik institutlarda, maktablarda, litseylarda, kasb-hunar ta'limi muassasalarida amalga oshirilishi mumkin.
Bitiruvchining kasbiy faoliyatining asosiy turlari qonun chiqaruvchi va ijro etuvchi organlarda, siyosiy partiyalar va jamoat tashkilotlarida, konsalting xizmatlarida, boshqaruv va nazorat organlarining matbuot xizmatlarida va ommaviy axborot vositalarida ishlash bilan bog'liq.
