Biography Facts
Sharipova Umida Adkhamovna was born in 1972 in the city of Fergana. In 1989-1994 she studied at the Tashkent State University of Economics.
From 1997 to 1999 she worked as a teacher of marketing, economics, banking at the specialized secondary school No. 186 in Tashkent.
She began her career at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in 1998 as a lecturer at the Department of International Finance. In 2002-2005 she was a PhD candidate at the Tashkent State University of Economic. From 2007 to 2008 she worked at the Department of International Economics at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, during 2008-2014 and 2017-2018 she worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of International Trade and Investment at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
During 2013-2014 she worked at the Tashkent State University of Law as a lecturer of the department Foundations of Economics and Governance, during 2014-2017 she was the head of this department.
Since February 2018, she has been working as Head of the Department of International Trade and Investment at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
