Shaira Narmatova is a university professor with extensive experience in teaching Uzbek language and literature, as well as world literature. She specializes in scientific research focused on 20th and 21st-century Uzbek literature. Narmatova has published numerous articles on mid-20th century literature and the 1990s, as well as contemporary literature, exploring topics such as poetics, style, and the ideological aspects of fiction. She is also the author and co-author of several textbooks, including Uzbek Language for University Students and Uzbek Language for Foreign Students. Currently, she is working on a manuscript that addresses the development of gender themes in Uzbek literature.
