Biography Facts
Abdullaeva Laziza completed her bachelor’s degree at the National University of Uzbekistan from 2002 to 2006, where she gained a strong academic foundation in her field. She then continued her studies at the same university, earning her master’s degree from 2006 to 2008 and further developing her professional knowledge and research skills.
Since 2013, Abdullaeva Laziza has been working as a teacher at the Department of English Language of UWED. She has been working in State Test Centre since 2020, and MGIMO University since 2019. Previously, worked as a teacher of English language in different Educational Institutions. Worked as an instructor for cadets and officers in the Academy of Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In 2012/2013 Institute of retraining and advanced training of pedagogical staff of the city of Tashkent. In 2019 trained in MGIMO, Odintsova (“New methods of teaching English”).
In 2019 Teacher training organized by US Embassy and UWED «Assessment Literacy, Assessing Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking, Vocabulary, Developing Test and Statistics»
In 2019 English language seminar-training in the Scientific and practical center for the development of research in the study of foreign languages, conducted by an English language specialist Christine Smart. In 2019 International Conference "Applied Linguistics and Language Teaching" (ICALLE 2019). In 2020 Advanced training at the “Republican Scientific and Practical Center for the Development of Innovative Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages” at TSWLU.
In Dec, 2021 – Jan, 2022, 20-hour training course on “Literature in the EFL Classroom” organized by US Embassy and English Language Programs Expert Estela Eaton. In Jan 2022, Regional Dialogue Training of Trainers Workshop at UWED (Introduction to U.S. Law & Legal Systems, Interactive Teaching Methods). In may 2024, the scientific and practical seminar "UWED Teacher Training: Bridging Theory and Practice," conducted by US Embassy fellow Ilene Giamanco.
