Dr. Laziza Abdullayeva, PhD, works as a teacher of English. Previously, she worked as an English language teacher in various educational institutions. At the university, she conducts practical classes in General English and ESP (Introduction to International Legal English). Over 20 of her articles have been published, including “A brief dictionary of legal abbreviations in English-Uzbek and Uzbek-English”. In November 2024, she defended her dissertation on the topic “Structural-Semantic and Functional Features of Abbreviations in Legal Discourse” to obtain the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philology at the National University of Uzbekistan. She is a graduate of the National University of Uzbekistan (Bachelor’s, 2006; Master’s, 2008).
