Imamova Kholida Kamalovna - Associate Professor, Department of Romano-Germanic Languages, University of World Economy and Diplomacy
From 1992 to 1998 she worked as a secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Tashkent. From 1998 to 2005 she was a teacher of the Turkish language at the Department of Turkic Studies of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies. Since 2005, she has been a senior lecturer at the Institute of Oriental Studies, and in 2014-2016 she studied at the doctoral program at the Institute of Oriental Studies. In 2017 she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic “Categories of politeness in Turkish”. From January 2, 2017, acting Associate Professor of the Department of Turkic Languages of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, and from January 3, 2020 to the present, Associate Professor.
Publications
Author of more than 50 scientific papers. Among them are 1 monograph, 2 textbooks, translation of the textbook "Ottoman Turkish" (co-authored). More than 30 articles have been published in scientific publications recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 20 of them in republican and 10 in foreign journals (Turkey, Russia). Participant of a number of international scientific conferences (Turkey; 2022, America: 2016, Russia: 2014; Uzbekistan, 2014, 2015, 2020, 2022).
