    As part of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and enhancing students' knowledge in the field of Civil and Economic Procedural Law, a master class was held on March 25, 2025, for third-year students of the Faculty of International Law at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

    The master class was conducted by Dostonbek Yunusov, the chief specialist of the Department of Legal Support and Regulatory Impact Assessment at the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change. Additionally, professors and teachers from the Department of Civil Law and International Private Law also participated.

    D.Yunusov explained the specifics of identifying legally significant facts in judicial proceedings. He elaborated on the legal norms that should be followed when handling such cases in court, and discussed the roles of the representatives of the parties and the judge in this process. Furthermore, he exchanged views on the issues that may arise when identifying legal facts in court proceedings and how these issues can be addressed.

    During the master class, explained the procedure for identifying legally significant facts in civil and economic courts, including the composition of the participants in the case, the evaluation of evidence, and the adoption of the final decision. He clarified significant issues encountered in judicial practice using examples and engaged in a detailed discussion with the students.

    The judicial practices of developed countries regarding the identification of legal facts were also thoroughly covered.

    The topics discussed generated great interest among the students, who asked various questions about the different situations arising when identifying legally significant facts in civil and economic courts and their legal assessment. They received detailed answers from the expert.

    This master class aligns with Goal 16 of the "BRM" – "Contributing to the establishment of peaceful and open societies along the path of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring access to justice for all, and establishing effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels, "particularly with Target 16.6 – "Increasing the effectiveness, accountability, and transparency of institutions at all levels of government"

    The master class provided an opportunity for students to develop their knowledge and skills regarding the identification of legally significant facts in civil and economic judicial proceedings and laid the foundation for their ability to apply these skills in their future professional careers.
