On March 4, 2023, the UWED Alumni Association held the "Book sharing" event for the first time. During the event, university graduates donated more than 200 books to the library, including textbooks, scientific and fiction literature, journalism, popular science and multidisciplinary books. It should be noted that the books were collected not only by graduates who work in Uzbekistan, but also in other countries of the world.

During the event, graduates actively communicated with students, passing on invaluable experience and sharing interesting stories.

“The purpose of the event is to awaken feelings of nostalgia among graduates, their rapprochement with the university and getting to know current students. We believe that every graduate has the desire to return to our university and feel like a student again. We hope that they had a good time remembering golden student times”, - says the chairman of the UWED Alumni Association Boboyorov Mirkomil.

The UWED Alumni Association has over 6,000 members. By 2028, growth is expected to double. The association plans to hold more meetings, bringing graduates together and raise the university's rating.
