On March 5 of this year, a meeting was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Military Training Center of the National University.

The event was held to ensure the implementation of priority tasks identified at the meeting of the Security Council on February 21, dedicated to strengthening the military security and defense capability of the state under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

During the dialogue, issues of strengthening the military security of the state, increasing the defense potential, and strengthening patriotic education among young people were discussed. At the event, responsible leaders presented information on modern reforms in the military sphere, the role of young specialists in ensuring national security, and new opportunities in the defense system.

Students were also given detailed explanations about the activities of the Department of Military Training, the educational process, the benefits provided, and promising areas. Participants were given the opportunity to get answers to their questions about the military education system, news related to state security, and the procedure for military service.
