On November 22, an online meeting was held with the participation of Sh. Shukurov, Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation, and F. Matkholikov, a leading specialist in the cultural and humanitarian direction.

The meeting was attended by UWED First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Akram Umarov, representatives of the departments of political science, international relations, Uzbek and Russian languages, systems analysis and mathematical modeling.

At the meeting, A. Umarov spoke and discussed the importance of establishing cooperation between the university and the embassies, future plans and expected results, and also got acquainted with the opinions of embassy officials on the topic under discussion.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to establish academic, scientific-practical, cultural-humanitarian cooperation with universities, research institutions, foundations and centers in the Russian Federation.
