    On October 25 of this year, Carlos Uriarte Sánchez, Secretary General of the Pan-European Association of Spain, Professor of Law at the Rey Juan Carlos University, and Antonio Alonso Marcos, Professor at the San Pablo University, who arrived as an observer for the parliamentary elections in our country, visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

    With their participation, a master class was organized for UWED students on the topic: "The Spanish political system and its challenges in foreign policy as a member of the European Union."

    Professor Sanchez covered issues of governance systems in the world and their uniqueness, discussed the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan and their significance, as well as priority aspects of the upcoming elections, which will be held on October 27.

    Professor Marcos highlighted the characteristics of Spain's democratic political system, its constitutional monarchy, parliamentary system, two-party system and political culture. He reviewed key areas of Spanish politics, including European integration, international relations, economic development and social justice.

    The teaching staff, graduate students and students of UWED actively participated in the discussion and expressed their opinions on the topics raised.

    International experts answered the participants' questions in detail, providing a wealth of valuable and interesting information.

    The visit of famous Spanish scientists and public figures provided a unique opportunity for UWED students to deepen their knowledge of modern trends in international diplomacy and world politics.
