The IX International Scientific and Expert Forum "Primakov Readings" was held in Moscow on November 24-29, 2023. UWED was represented by the Head of the Department of International Relations U. Khasanov and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Political Science M. Abdullaeva.

The Scientific and Expert Forum "Primakov Readings" is an annual international meeting of experts in the field of international relations and the world economy. It was first held in 2015 and named after the scientist and statesman Yevgeny Maksimovich Primakov. As part of the Forum, leading scientists, politicians and diplomats from all over the world conduct an open dialogue on global and regional challenges and threats. Since its inception, many outstanding scientists and experts from major global research and analytical centers, political and public figures have become participants in the Forum.

The theme of the Primakov Readings 2023 was "Post-Globalization Horizons"; during the two-day panels, invited speakers discussed scenarios for the development of international relations, challenges in the field of international security, as well as new models of interaction between subjects of world politics.
