On October 24, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, in order to implement the main directions of the Strategy “Uzbekistan - 2030” approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 11, 2023 № PD-158, an international scientific and practical conference was held on the topic “Actual Issues of International Law”.

The international scientific and practical conference was attended by representatives of state and international organizations, such as the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights (Ombudsman), the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Uzbekistan, Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Institute of State and Law under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Regional Delegation of the ICRC in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Academy of Public Administration under The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lawyers' Training Center under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent State Law University.

The purpose of this conference was to discuss actual issues of international law, as well as prospects for the legal regulation of international cooperation, exchange of opinions, professional experience and knowledge on ensuring global and regional security, improving international mechanisms for realizing the national interests of our state.

Following the results of the conference, a collection of scientific abstracts will be published.
