Admission to Bachelor's Degree
Information on the procedure for conducting a preliminary exam for admission in the bachelor's degree areas of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy for the 2022/2023 academic year
The beginning of admission of applicants' documents to the University of World Economy and Diplomacy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan is carried out from June 15th to July 5th , 2022 through online application submission.
The preliminary examination for admission to the Bachelor's degree of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (hereinafter UWED) is carried out in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 21st, 2018 No. PP-3795 “On measures to radically improve the activities of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy” and with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 28th, 2018 No. 594 “On approval of the Regulations on the procedure for admission to Bachelor's and Master's degrees of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy”.
Applicants fill out an online application in the system of electronic registration of applicants UWED (https://admission.uwed.uz) and upload an electronic copy of the documents required for registration, and in turn receive a referral to the preliminary exam. After registration, the applicant receives the date and time of the preliminary exam.
The preliminary exam consists of three blocks of questions that define:
Block 1. Determination of intellectual level (IQ test, 40 points):
1.1. definition of logical and broad level of thinking;
1.2. determination of the level of knowledge of various concepts;
1.3. comparison of facts and determination of the degree of identification of the relationship between them;
Block 2. Determination of the level of proficiency in the native language (literacy and the ability to provide reasonable explanations on culture, art, history, geography of Uzbekistan and other issues - a short essay in the amount of 100 words, 30 points):
2.1. The applicant will write a short essay
Block 3. Determination of the level of proficiency in foreign languages (English, French and German) (test, 30 points):
3.1. The applicant will solve the tests.
Attention! In 2022, the preliminary (internal) exam will be held on the territory of UWED.
The maximum score of the preliminary exam is 100 points.
Applicants who have scored a total of 50 points or higher on all blocks are allowed to take entrance tests in the bachelor's degree directions conducted by the State Testing Center for admission to the UWED in accordance with the established procedure.
Only applicants who have successfully passed the preliminary exam will be able to choose the direction of study of the UWED in accordance with the instructions by visiting the registration portal of the State Testing Center - https://abitur.dtm.uz.
Applicants can also choose 5 directions from various universities of their choice, including directions at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
