On April 8th, teachers from the Department of English, in collaboration with students from the Faculty of International Economics and Management of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, organized a visit to the Children's Oncology Hospital.

This visit culminated in a significant aid campaign, where students and teachers contributed to a fund supporting six families grappling with the challenges of childhood leukemia.  The initiative served not only to provide crucial assistance to those facing profound hardship but also to foster a stronger sense of community and mutual support within the university.

 Providing vital social support to families confronting critical illness, particularly within vulnerable populations, is a fundamental imperative.  The demonstrable commitment of the UWED students and faculty to global principles of social protection and healthcare underscores their dedication to equity and compassionate action in the face of adversity.
