A holiday event called “The people and the army - one body and one soul” was held
On January 12th, 2024, within the “Week of Patriotism”, the UWED hosted the event “The people and the army – one body, one soul”, dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day.
First of all, the First Vice-rector for Youth issues and spiritual and educational affairs, O.Yusupdjanov sincerely congratulated everyone on the upcoming holiday. He underlined, that our Youth is the key for the protection of the future interests of Uzbekistan.
At this event, students organized stage performances on the topic of protecting our Homeland. The officers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan also demonstrated their skills.
At the end of the event, students who actively participated in competitions held within “the Week of Patriotism” were awarded by the University administration.
