    PhD in Philosophy

    (Moscow State University, 1986; dissertation topic - "Genesis of Elementary Logical Forms"), academic title - Associate Professor (1992). Associate Professor at the Department of Ethnology, University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UMED), has been working at the university since 2017.

    Taught at various universities in Uzbekistan, served as an advisor to the rector and director of the Center for Strategic Development Planning at the National University of Uzbekistan named after M. Ulugbek, advisor to the rector and head of the department at the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, deputy director, and senior researcher at the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, project leader of the State Committee for Science and Technology (GKNT) and the Ministry of Innovation.

    Taught abroad (South Korea): Hoseo University (1998-2000), Hanyang University, and Sungkyunkwan University (2011).

    Delivered guest lectures:

    Biography Facts

    Born in 1959 in Karshi. Completed high school in Tashkent with a gold medal. In 1976, enrolled in the Philosophy Department of the Historical Faculty at Tashkent State University, and in 1978, transferred to the Philosophy Faculty of Moscow State University, graduating with honors in 1982. Completed postgraduate studies at Moscow State University in 1985.

    Publications

    Author of over 190 works published in 13 countries worldwide, encompassing various languages, including 8 solo-authored monographs and 7 co-authored monographs. Author/co-author of textbooks in sociology, philosophy, and contemporary history.

    Presented papers at 110 conferences, including over 80 international conferences in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Hungary, Romania, the UK, Germany, France, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, India, South Korea, the USA, and New Zealand.

     

    Participated in more than 20 international research projects. Recipient of Fulbright and IREX grants (USA), INTAS (European Union), Korea Foundation, Academy of Korean Studies, Korean Institute of National History, etc. (South Korea), Agency for Development and Cooperation (Switzerland), Eurasia Foundation (Japan).

     

    Member of the editorial boards of 8 scientific journals in India, Russia, Turkey, and South Korea, indexed in SCOPUS, Web of Sciences, EBSCO, RINC, and other international databases, including 5 journals listed in the VAK RUz.

    Member of international scientific associations (USA, Korea, EU), a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association for Central Asian Studies.
