Murotov Akmal Khakimovich was born in 1956 in Tashkent city.

He graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Transportation Engineers (1973) and studied at Ph.D. level at the Graduate School of the Russian Academy of Management (1993). From 1979 to 1990 worked as a specialist in various fields of national economy. From 1993 to 2013 worked as a leading specialist, deputy general director, general director of the Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange.

Since 2014, he is been working in education. He worked as a consultant and teacher at the Tashkent Regional Banking Training Center. Since September 2014, she has been teaching at the Department of International Finance and Investments at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
