On April 4 of this year, the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Sodyq Safayev, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Uzbekistan, Mohammad Monirul Islam.

During the meeting, the prospects of inter-parliamentary cooperation were discussed, as well as issues related to academic exchange and the development of educational programs between the two countries.

The Ambassador expressed interest in the preparation of scientific and educational personnel through the implementation of joint projects.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to sign a Memorandum between the Diplomatic Academies of Bangladesh and Uzbekistan.
