Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan visited University of World Economy and Diplomacy
On April 30 this year, the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Sodik Safoev met with Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
UWED organized master classes for school teachers
On April 29 of this year, master classes were held by teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages of UWED for teachers of English language of school 329 of Yangihayot district.
Students of UWED are also active in art and culture
On April 27-28 of this year, the regional stages of the contest “The most active student theater studios of the year” were held in our republic. Students of our university together with the theater studio “Diplomat” and “The Rock Ambassadors” actively took part in the festival.

28 апреля 2022 года в здании махалли «Буз» Мирзо-Улугбекского района состоялась встреча преподавателей кафедры «Международная экономика» УМЭД с представителями данной махалли и её председателем О.Панфиловой. Также на встречу были приглашены жители этой махалли.

On 25 April 2022, Professor Thomas Cottier – a prominent expert on WTO Law and International Economic Law, one of the standing arbitrators of the Multi-Party Interim Appeal Arbitration Arrangement – gave a guest lecture on the Multi-Party Interim Appeal Arbitration Arrangement (MPIA) to a group of students of the International Law Faculty (UWED).

April 19, 2022 In the assembly hall of the UWED, another event dedicated to the culture of the country of the language being studied took place. The organizers of the musical performance were the Department of Oriental Languages.
