On September 28, 2018, the UWED hosted a round-table meeting on the topic “Social capital as a subject of interdisciplinary study”, organized within the framework of interdepartmental cooperation based on the agreement between the departments “Economic Theory” and “Social and Political Sciences”.
On 26th of September there were organized an open dialogue between the youth and the representatives of Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan on the topic of "Rights of the youth: Practice and Experience".

September 13-14, 2018, UWED students of International Relations Department visited Samarkand to take part in the Fifth India-Central Asia Dialogue.
On September 15, the presentation of the "Startup Initiative" contest was held at the Tashkent Financial Institute ("Startup Initiatives" is a comprehensive program to support the development (acceleration) of start-up ideas and projects of students and young scientists of higher educational institutions), which is being conducted for the 3rd time.
