Bachelorʼs Degree

The University of World Economy and Diplomacy offers undergraduate programs in a variety of fields, including: International Relations, Political Science, International Economics and Management Jurisprudence. The University of World Economy and Diplomacy was established on September 23, 1992. It is functioning under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It is a higher educational institution that provides training, retraining and advanced training for specialists and academic staff as well as conducts high-level fundamental and applied research in the following areas:

The educational program “Leadership and corporate culture” was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy

At the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, on April 23-25 of this year, the educational program “Leadership and Corporate Culture” was held, organized by the Faculty of Executive Education of UWED together with the consulting company Senteo (USA). t was attended by managers and specialists of enterprises with a state share that are subject to reform and improvement of operational efficiency. The educational program was focused on developing a systematic understanding of the driving forces of corporate culture, ways of designing and developing сorporate culture to achieve success and growth. The program introduces elements of corporate culture, leadership styles and the evolution of corporate culture management based on best international practices. Classes had been taught by Senteo CEO Michael Ruckman, who possesses many years of work experience in major international companies, and in management consulting. He regularly conducts similar educational programs at leading universities around the world. The classes were conducted by the General Director of Senteo, Michael Ruckman, who has many years of practical experience in international companies, as well as in the field of management consulting. On April 24 of this year, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, a meeting was held with the director of the Center for International Relations of Poland (CSM), professor at the University of Warsaw, Malgorzata Bonikowska. Professor Bonikowska in her speech touched upon the history of the creation of the European Union, its institutional formation, and provided an overview of the current political and economic state and prospects for the further development of the EU. A discussion of gender equality issues took place at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy

On April 23 of this year, a discussion took place at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy as part of the series “The Image of Modern Women Leaders”. The event, organized by the Council of the Women's Committee and the Women's Club “Leader” of the UWED, was attended by the Deputy Head of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Tashkent, Lieutenant Colonel Shirin Normatova, faculty and students of the university. A discussion took place on issues of protecting the legitimate interests of women and ensuring their equal rights with men. Particular attention is paid to the socio-political role of women in the modern world, their overcoming of stereotypes and challenges on the path to a successful professional career.
